These keto avocado slices are coated in a zesty mix of aromatic spices and lemon juice, then pan fried until lightly golden.

These make a great snack or addition to a salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 each avocado
  • 1 teaspoon gourmet collection smoked paprika by mccormick
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper (cayenne), ground
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the avocado into strips, add to a bowl.
  2. Add a tablespoon of the olive oil, lemon juice, spices and seasonings to a small bowl. Mix well to combine.
  3. Drizzle over the avocado slices and toss to coat.
  4. Heat the remaining olive oil in a skillet over a medium heat and add the spiced avocado slices. Pan fry for 2-3 minutes each side until warmed through and lightly golden.
