The recipe calls for xylitol but this can be swapped for your preferred granulated low carb sweetener.

  • 1 ½ cup, whole pieces almonds, dry roasted, unsalted
  • 1 teaspoon xylitol by now
  • 1 teaspoon gourmet collection smoked paprika by mccormick
  • 1 teaspoon salt, sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and line a shallow oven tray with baking paper.
  2. Add the almonds to a mixing bowl with the oil, xylitol, salt, cinnamon and paprika. Toss well to combine, ensuring the nuts are evenly coated in the seasonings.
  3. Arrange the almonds evenly across the lined baking tray and transfer to the oven to bake for 25-30 minutes, turning regularly and ensuring they do not burn.
