This simple keto nut butter recipe is packed with lightly toasted pecans and a generous pinch of sea salt.
Perfect spread over keto toast. You can also add in a low carb sweetener if desired.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup chopped pecans by diamond
- 1 teaspoon salt, sea salt
Instructions
- Add the chopped pecans to a dry skillet over a low/medium heat. Toast gently for 4-5 minutes until fragrant, stirring often.
- Transfer the toasted pecans to a food processor along with the salt.
- Blend until semi smooth. You will need to scrape down the food processor at intervals and allow it to cool if it starts to get hot. Store in a clean sealable jar in the fridge.
