These spicy peppers are stuffed with cream cheese and crispy bacon, with just a hint of garlic.
Perfect for snacking in between meals, adding to salads for lunch or as a party appetizer.
Ingredients
- 24 1 pepper sweet & mild piquante pepper
- 2 tablespoon cream cheese spread
- 2 slice – 6" long bacon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- â…› teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a skillet over a medium/high heat. Add the bacon and cook on both sides until completely crisp and golden. Set aside to cool then crumble into a mixing bowl.
- Add the cream cheese, garlic powder and pepper to the bowl with the bacon and mix well to combine.
- Divide the mixture evenly between the centres of the peppers using a teaspoon.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
