These spicy peppers are stuffed with cream cheese and crispy bacon, with just a hint of garlic.

Perfect for snacking in between meals, adding to salads for lunch or as a party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 24 1 pepper sweet & mild piquante pepper
  • 2 tablespoon cream cheese spread
  • 2 slice – 6" long bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • â…› teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a skillet over a medium/high heat. Add the bacon and cook on both sides until completely crisp and golden. Set aside to cool then crumble into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the cream cheese, garlic powder and pepper to the bowl with the bacon and mix well to combine.
  3. Divide the mixture evenly between the centres of the peppers using a teaspoon.
  4. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
