Make this snack recipe when you need a quick fix for something cheesy and hot! Low carb avocado adds a little nutrition and healthy fat.

Ingredients

  • 4 slice (from pre-sliced package) – each 3/4 ounce provolone cheese, natural
  • 2 ounce avocado, black skin, california type
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat an oven to 400 degrees and line a sheet tray with parchment paper. Arrange 4 slices of provolone cheese. Place ½ oz avocado on one side of each cheese slice. Sprinkle the salt over the avocado.
  2. Bake the tray for just 5 minutes in the oven. Allow the tray to cool for approx. 2-3 minutes before using a spatula to push the cheese over the avocado into a roll.
  3. Once cool enough to hold, enjoy!
