About

This low-carb beet smoothie is a delicious combination of healthy fats and low-carb veggies, perfect for breakfast or a midday snack. It also has an appetizing bright red color that comes from the beetroot.

What makes this Keto detox smoothie the best?

This Keto beverage is filled with raw vegetables and fats to achieve a high concentration of nutrients, minerals, and fiber. Beets, for instance, have cleansing properties and may help fight inflammation. The cucumber and celery add a refreshing touch to the smoothie and bring everything together. Coconut oil adds a dose of healthy fats, but this could be substituted for MCT oil. Not only is this beverage healthy, but it is also super easy to prepare.

Should you use raw or cooked beets?

While raw beet has higher nutritional value than cooked beet, we opted for cooked beet to achieve a creamier smoothie. If you'd rather use raw for its health benefits, simply peel the beetroot, wash it, roughly chop it, and add it to the blender.

How can you boost the health benefits of this smoothie?

We like to keep our Keto recipes simple and straightforward, but this doesn't mean that you can't add your choice of ingredients to this smoothie.
