About

This simple Keto White Russian puts a fruity spin on a classic cocktail. Fresh raspberries are used to complement your vodka of choice and the heaviness of a creamy mixer. This drink would often include a shot of Chambord, a raspberry-flavored liqueur. However, a shot of Chambord would add about 14g of carbohydrates to your Keto cocktail! If the recipe here feels it’s missing a punch of flavor, below are some additional ingredient suggestions you could include. If you enjoy a good cocktail, leave your personal Keto twists and suggestions in the comments below!

What more can you add to your Keto White Russian?

This drink is a sneaky, clever way to include fat in your Keto diet! Although adding Chambord would take you out of ketosis, there are additional Keto options available to you. For one, you could include more raspberries at your discretion to increase the raspberry flavor missing from the lack of Chambord. If you don’t want to include any additional carbs at all, try adding 1 oz of La Croix Cran-Raspberry sparkling water. You may also search for raspberry-flavored vodka, but ensure that the vodka does not include any added sugar.

What can you replace the heavy cream with?

If heavy cream is too thick for you, you can replace this with coconut milk. You’ll be missing out on the fat but can still enjoy the richness of a White Russian.

Who likes White Russians?

You would be right to say a Raspberry White Russian is a unique twist from the traditional drink! A typical White Russian is made with coffee liqueur (usually Kahlua) and no berries in sight. Enjoying a White Russian makes a little more sense when it sounds like an alcohol-infused coffee drink, not to be confused with an Irish coffee! While White Russians have been around for a while, many believe they became popular after the release of The Big Lebowski. Sure, this cocktail isn’t for everyone, but, “Hey Man”, don’t shoot the messenger!
