These bars are so buttery and delicious and studded with melted chocolate chips! They are soft and dense; perfect for an afternoon snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar replacement by swerve
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 large raw egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cup almond flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon coarse kosher salt by morton
  • ¾ cup, whole pieces – regular chocolate chips, sugar free

Instructions

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 F. Combine brown sugar, melted butter, eggs and vanilla together.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder and kosher salt.
  3. Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and combine well with a spatula. Add in the chocolate chips and stir until well mixed.
  4. Grease an 8 x 8 pan with nonstick spray. Spread batter into the pan and bake for 23-25 minutes or until center is set and the edges of the blondies are browned.
  5. Let cool completely before cutting into 16 bars.
