About

These double chocolate almond brownies are super fudgy and delicious! Not to mention the lovely bits of chocolate chips and sliced almonds running through them.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • 4 ounce chocolate chips, sugar free
  • ½ cup brown sugar replacement by swerve
  • 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large raw egg
  • 1 ½ cup almond flour
  • ⅔ cup, whole pieces – regular chocolate chips, sugar free
  • ⅓ cup, sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 F. Spray an 8” x 8” glass baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. Melt the butter and 4 oz of chocolate chips in a microwave proof bowl.
  2. Mix in the brown sugar, vanilla extract, and the eggs.
  3. Add in the almond flour and mix.
  4. Fold in the rest of the chocolate chips and the sliced almonds.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-22 minutes until the brownies are just set, but still fudgy. Allow brownies to cool in the fridge until completely chilled before cutting. You can allow the brownies to come to room temperature after cutting so they are soft and not cold.
