These lamb burgers are packed with flavor from salty olives to creamy feta and aromatic mint.

Perfect served alongside a simple salad or a portion of cauliflower rice, they are guaranteed to add a bit of variety to meal times.

Although these burgers are oven baked you could also pan fry them or add them to the grill if you prefer!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon peppermint fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro
  • ⅓ cup, crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 ¼ cup kalamata olives
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin by tone's
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 395 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Add the ground lamb to a large mixing bowl. Finely chop the cilantro, mint and olives and mince the garlic. Add to the mixing bowl with the lamb along with the feta, cumin, salt and pepper.
  3. Using your hands, mix all the ingredients together thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Divide the mixture evenly into four portions and shape into burger patties with your hands – about ½ an inch thick.
  5. Arrange the patties on a shallow oven tray and transfer to the oven to bake for 20-23 minutes or until golden brown on the outside and cooked through. Turn the burgers halfway through baking.
  6. Serve with salad or cauli rice.
