These lamb burgers are packed with flavor from salty olives to creamy feta and aromatic mint.
Perfect served alongside a simple salad or a portion of cauliflower rice, they are guaranteed to add a bit of variety to meal times.
Although these burgers are oven baked you could also pan fry them or add them to the grill if you prefer!
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground lamb
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tablespoon peppermint fresh mint
- 1 tablespoon cilantro
- ⅓ cup, crumbled feta cheese
- 1 ¼ cup kalamata olives
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin by tone's
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 395 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Add the ground lamb to a large mixing bowl. Finely chop the cilantro, mint and olives and mince the garlic. Add to the mixing bowl with the lamb along with the feta, cumin, salt and pepper.
- Using your hands, mix all the ingredients together thoroughly until well combined.
- Divide the mixture evenly into four portions and shape into burger patties with your hands – about ½ an inch thick.
- Arrange the patties on a shallow oven tray and transfer to the oven to bake for 20-23 minutes or until golden brown on the outside and cooked through. Turn the burgers halfway through baking.
- Serve with salad or cauli rice.
