Granted, pate is one of those foods you need to have the palate for to enjoy. For those who love rich and savory chicken liver pate, this recipe is simple enough to follow and results in a seriously delicious snack or appetizer. Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tablespoon butter
  • 4 liver chicken liver
  • 1 tbsp, crumbled spices bay leaf
  • ½ teaspoon spices onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup parsley raw

Instructions

  1. In a shallow skillet, melt the butter. Cook the chicken livers in the butter with the bay leaf on medium-low heat, covered, for about 6-7 minutes. Flip the livers halfway through for even cooking.
  2. Remove the bay leaf. Leave the juices in the pan, and transfer the cooked livers to a food processor. Add the remaining ingredients to the food processor and blend until fully combined.
  3. Blend in the leftover juices in the pan to bring the pate to your preferred smoothness. The more fat you add, the richer the pate will be!
  4. Chill the pate in a refrigerator for 1 hour before serving. Enjoy!
