This Mexican rice will be the perfect pairing to any main dish! Cauliflower rice is sauteed with onions, garlic powder, tomato sauce, cumin, and chili powder!
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoon avocado oil
- ⅓ cup white onion
- 12 ounce asda frozen cauliflower rice
- ⅓ cup tomato sauce
- ½ teaspoon coarse kosher salt by morton
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ⅓ cup green bell pepper
- ½ teaspoon cumin, ground
- ¼ teaspoon chili powder
Instructions
- Preheat a medium-sized nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add in the oil and then the onions. Saute for a couple minutes until translucent.
- Add the frozen cauliflower and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the tomato sauce and give it a good stir to incorporate the sauce.
- Add diced green bell pepper, salt and garlic powder.
- Add the cumin and chili powder. Stir well and serve immediately!
