This simple roasted broccoli is baked with zesty lemon and aromatic garlic until tender then served with a creamy watercress sauce.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 servings (per tablespoon) keto watercress sauce
- 3 cup broccoli
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon peel or zest raw
- ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
- â…› teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Slice the broccoli into florets of even sizes and arrange across a shallow oven tray. Thinly slice the garlic and scatter over the broccoli along with the lemon zest, salt and pepper. Drizzle with the olive oil and lemon juice.
- Transfer to the oven to bake for 18-20 minutes, turning halfway through until fork tender and golden at the edges.
- Toss the broccoli with the watercress sauce to serve.
