Tartar sauce is the perfect keto condiment, loaded with fats from mayonnaise and sour cream and seasoned with tangy dill pickles and salty capers.

Perfect served with fish or grilled chicken.

Ingredients

  • 3 small – approx 2" long dill pickles
  • 1 ½ tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ tablespoon sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon, whole pieces capers
  • 1 teaspoon lemon peel or zest raw
  • ½ teaspoon garlic, powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper, ground

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the capers and thinly slice the pickles. Add to a mixing bowl along with the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon zest, garlic powder and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  2. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
