Salty, sticky, and a little sweet – teriyaki sauce can make anything taste better! Teriyaki sauce is stewed with fresh garlic and grated ginger root for a savory, deep flavor. You can use this sauce to cook your Asian inspired dishes in, or simply use as a tasty dipping sauce!
Ingredients
- 1 cup soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon ginger root, raw
- 1 clove garlic, fresh
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper by simply organic
- ½ teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon baking aids xanthan gum by bob's red mill
- 2 package stevia leaf noncaloric sweetener (green packet)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a pot and bring to a low simmer. Continue whisking and cooking the sauce until it reduces slightly and has a slight thickness to it.
- Set the cooked sauce in a container to cool in a refrigerator overnight. It will thicken as it cools. Enjoy!
