These little fat bombs are chocolatey with a hint of green tea thanks to the matcha powder. They are perfect to keep in the fridge whenever you need a sweet snack. There is a suggested amount of stevia drops in the recipe, but add sweetener to taste in step 3. You can also make them with no sweetener!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon cacao butter maya superfood by navitas naturals
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoon coconut cream by aroy-d
  • ¾ teaspoon culinary matcha powder by matcha love
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 5 tablespoon 100% organic shredded coconut unsweetened by let's do
  • ½ teaspoon flaxseed finely ground by 365
  • 4 drop stevia liquid

Instructions

  1. Melt the cacao butter and coconut oil in a small saucepan or microwave. Whisk together until totally melted.
  2. Whisk in the flaxseed, coconut milk, and ½ tsp. matcha powder to the bowl.
  3. Fold in the cocoa powder, vanilla extract and 2.5 Tbsp. of the shredded coconut. Add stevia to taste and a pinch of salt and stir to combine.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes.
  5. Mix together the remaining 2.5 Tbsp. coconut flakes and matcha in a little bowl. Remove the bowl with the chocolate mixture from the fridge and scoop out the mixture and form into little balls. Dip and roll the balls in the coconut mixture and place on a parchment covered plate or pan.
  6. Refrigerate for about an hour and enjoy!
