These little fat bomb bites are completely unsweetened yet taste sweet! The combination of coconut and almond provide a great base for those of us who are dairy-free. Turmeric is an excellent anti inflammatory addition to these bites, and the pumpkin seeds provide some crunch, along with small amounts of zinc, magnesium and iron. They’re a bit addicting, so it’s best to keep them in the freezer and take out when you need a little something to hold you over.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon coconut oil
  • ¼ cup raw coconut butter by artisana organics
  • 3 tablespoon almond butter
  • ¾ teaspoon spices turmeric ground
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon sprouted pumpkin seeds by go raw

Instructions

  1. Add coconut oil, coconut butter and almond butter to a bowl. Melt in the microwave for 10-15 seconds until softened.
  2. Add the turmeric powder, vanilla extract and salt and stir.
  3. Pour in pumpkin seeds and mix until combined.
  4. Pour mixture into mini silicone trays.
  5. Freeze for about 1 hour, then pop out of the trays and enjoy!
