This warming spiced nut mix is the perfect snack for the festive season.

Aromatic allspice is combined with smoky paprika and sweet Lakanto syrup to create a caramelized nut mix.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup, whole pieces macadamia nuts, raw
  • ½ cup, whole pieces brazil nuts, unsalted
  • 1 cup, halves pecans, raw
  • ½ teaspoon gourmet collection smoked paprika by mccormick
  • 1 teaspoon allspice, ground
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon maple flavored syrup by lakanto

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a shallow oven tray with baking paper.
  2. Roughly chop the nuts and add to a mixing bowl.
  3. Melt the butter and mix together with the lakanto syrup, salt, allspice and paprika.
  4. Pour the butter mixture over the nuts and stir well to combine until all the nuts are well coated in the seasonings.
  5. Arrange the nuts in an even layer across the lined baking tray.
  6. Transfer to the oven to roast for 20 minutes until golden brown all over.
