These keto hard boiled eggs are pan fried in olive oil until golden then served with a sprinkle of smoky paprika.

These make a great snack between meals or can be added to a salad.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium raw egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon gourmet collection smoked paprika by mccormick
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add the eggs to a small saucepan. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer for 7 minutes, drain, then run immediately under cold water.
  2. Once the eggs are cool enough to handle, peel and slice in half lengthwise.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over a medium heat. Add the eggs, yolk side down and fry for 2-3 minutes until golden. Turn and fry the other side until golden and hot through.
  4. Sprinkle the yolk side with salt, pepper and paprika to serve.
