These mini kebabs are so simple to make yet packed with flavor – from the saltiness of prosciutto to the creamy mozzarella, the tang of sundried tomatoes and just a hint of aromatic basil.

Great as a dinner party appetiser, low carb snack, or even as the topping for your lunch time salad. These kebabs are ready to go in a matter of minutes!

The recipe uses bite sized mozzarella pearls, but you could use torn chunks of mozzarella.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounce fresh mozzarella pearls by bel gioioso
  • 6 pieces sundried tomatoes in oil by pastene
  • 6 leaves basil fresh
  • 2 thin slice prosciutto ham

Instructions

  1. Assemble the ingredients together on a platter for ease, along with 6 toothpicks or mini skewers.
  2. Tear the ham into 12 small pieces. Wrap a mozzarella ball in a piece of the ham and thread onto a skewer. Follow by 1 folded tomato, 1 folded basil leaf and another ham wrapped mozzarella ball.
  3. Repeat on all 6 skewers and refrigerate until ready to serve.
