About

A mixture of almond flour, ground flax seeds, and eggs are combined to create the crispiest cracker! Fresh rosemary and sea salt is added for flavor, but feel free to add any herb you’d like.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup organic ground flax seed by wild oats
  • 2 large raw egg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary, fresh

Instructions

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat sprayed liberally with non-stick cooking spray. Combine the almond flour, ground flax seeds, eggs, rosemary and sea salt together in a bowl.
  2. Allow to sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Place dough onto the silicone mat. Spray another silicone mat liberally with non-stick cooking spray and place it on top of the dough.
  4. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough out as thin as possible, spreading it out to the sides of the baking sheet. Remove the top silicone mat occasionally to spray with more cooking spray during the rolling process. If you don’t have silicone mats parchment paper will do.
  5. Remove the top silicone mat and cut the dough into 1 ½” by 1 ½” pieces. Sprinkle with additional sea salt to your taste.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool until you are able to handle it. Break the crackers apart, turn the oven off and allow the crackers to sit in the oven until the oven has cooled down. This will help the crackers to continue to crisp and dry.
