This indulgent keto pate is packed with salty, omega 3 rich salmon, sweet shrimps and tangy cream cheese.
Simple to prepare, the pate requires refrigerating for a minimum of an hour before serving, allowing it to firm slightly.
Perfect spread on keto toast, low carb crackers or used as a dip.
Ingredients
- 5 ⅓ ounce cream cheese spread
- 4 ½ ounce small cooked shrimp by roundy's
- 3 ½ ounce smoked salmon
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon creme fraiche
- 1 tablespoon lemon peel
- ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Roughly chop the smoked salmon and add to a food processor along with the cream cheese, 3.5 ounces of the shrimp, the crème fraiche, lemon juice, half the lemon zest, black pepper and nutmeg.
- Pulse the mixture to a semi-smooth consistency, so that it retains a little texture.
- Divide the mixture evenly between 2 large or 4 small ramekins. Cover with saran wrap and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour to set.
- To serve, scatter over the remaining shrimp and lemon zest.
