These flavorsome kale chips are tossed with sweet maple flavored syrup, smokey paprika and a hint of lemon before being oven baked until crisp and caramelized.

These make a great sharing snack between meals.

Ingredients

  • 4 cup kale, raw
  • 2 teaspoon gourmet collection smoked paprika by mccormick
  • 2 teaspoon maple flavored syrup by lakanto
  • 1 teaspoon lemon peel or zest raw
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
  • â…› teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a shallow oven tray with baking paper.
  2. Arrange the kale leaves in an even layer across the lined oven tray.
  3. Scatter over the paprika, zest, salt and pepper and drizzle the syrup.
  4. Drizzle over the olive oil and use your hands to massage the oil, syrup and seasonings into the kale.
  5. Transfer to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until crisp, turning halfway through. Set aside to cool and crisp further.
