These crispy keto kale chips are tossed with spicy chili, aromatic garlic, zesty lemon and nutritional yeast for a vegan cheese flavor.
These make a great sharing snack or side.
Ingredients
- 4 cup kale
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon peel or zest raw
- 1 teaspoon hot chili pepper, dried, with seeds
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast by red star
- ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a shallow oven tray with baking paper.
- Clean the kale and spread in an even layer across the lined oven tray, discarding any tough stalks.
- Whisk together the olive oil, nutritional yeast, lemon zest, chili flakes, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Drizzle this oil over the kale and rub into the leaves using your hands.
- Transfer to the oven to bake for 12-15 minutes or until the kale is crispy, turning halfway through.
