About

If you happen to be extra hungry some mornings, you’ll want to keep this recipe on hand. This breakfast consists of a thick piece of french toast, a full scrambled egg, and a slice of crispy bacon to top it off. You can always change things up by cooking your egg over easy, changing out the bacon for lox or another breakfast protein, or even adding more toppings!

*Please note you will need 3 slices of Carb Manager French Toast already prepared for this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 3 toast slices low carb french toast
  • 3 slice turkey bacon
  • 3 large raw egg
  • 1 teaspoon heavy cream
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Please have a half recipe of the Carb Manager French Toast already prepared (3 pieces total). Have the toast ready to go on a serving plate for the remainder of this recipe.
  2. In a small pan, cook the turkey bacon on both sides to your preferred level of doneness. For the sake of this recipe, the crispier the better! Set the bacon aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, and salt. Cook the egg mixture in the same pan over a medium heat, continually stirring with a spatula until you have scrambled eggs done to your preferred level of doneness.
  4. Split the scrambled eggs over the 3 pieces of french toast. Then, break the turkey bacon in half and arrange them over the eggs on each slice of toast. Enjoy!
