About

The blend of fresh, spicy ginger, tart lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar will help keep your gut happy and healthy! Ginger and lemon juice may help promote the reduction of inflammation, ease digestive issues and enhance the immune system. Ginger elixirs have been used since ancient times to treat various ailments. Some studies have found that people who consumed a small amount of ginger powder a day had significant inflammatory markers reductions. Some store-bought digestive shots have added sugars, but these shots are effortless to make at home without sugar. Feel free to create a larger batch and keep it stored in an airtight container in the fridge until ready for consumption. If you love ginger, you will love the spiciness the ginger adds to this shot. When consumed, the shot should be taken in one gulp (if possible!).

What kind of ginger should I use?

The use of fresh ginger is recommended. Dried ginger or powdered ginger will not have the same health benefits or the same flavor.

What else can I add to a digestive shot?

Feel free to add cayenne powder for an extra kick, matcha for more antioxidants, functional ingredients like reishi mushroom powder or turmeric.

Can I make digestion shots ahead of time?

Yes! Feel free to make a larger batch of digestive shots and keep them stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use for up to one week.
